Description:
This freeskiing event is a one-​day skiing competition in slopestyle discipline, meaning that the riders are using area of the whole snowpark-rails,boxes and bumpers.
The competition shall be riden by following system - two rounded qualification, where only the better one of both rides counts.
Fifteen best riders advance to the final round, which will be also two rounded. Specially skilled judges from the members of freeskiing comunity and freeski media shall be judging the tricks.
By organizing first oficial Czech slopestyle competition, We would like to start a tradition, which is fully common in mature countries and responds by huge media and audience support.
The name Czech Freeskiing Open 09 may represent, that only czech riders are involved - opposite is the truth. Our event means Open Championship of the Czech republic and the word "open" means, that anybody can take a place. In various countries we can see foreign riders qiute ordinarily. Our event will beside the Czechs focus on Polacs, Germans and Slovacs. We hope we will ellure some other foreigners as well.

SKI RESORT REJDICE
The resort Kořenov - Rejdice takes place on the borders of Jizera and Krkonoše mountains. It can be easily reached from Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. The local chalet Panorama can offer you stylish accomodation, all-​day food and relaxation center. In a 30m distance, there is a ski area with a modern ski lift and downhill tracks, which are shaped regularly. There is an evening skiing option under the artificial illumination too.

LOCAL SNOWPARK
Rejdice EXTRA O2 Snowpark is one of the top and most renowned snowparks in Czech republic. It is sponsored by the phone operator Teléfonica O2. The park itself measures almost one kilometer in lenght and more than 200m in width. The number of obstacles strolls around 15, depending on conditions. The park was build by project of the Czech most experienced snowboarders, who had put all their skills and experiences from Czech and Alpine snowparks in it. All bumpers have solid basics and are dimensed for safe landings.
There are various difficulty levels of obstacles suited for freestyle begginers and profesional riders as well. The bumbers in park are from one to more than fifteen meters long.(one of the longest in CZ). Many showboard events with the best riders participation took place in the park, therefor it is well known among the wide public. At randon we could mention one-​week Horsefeathers Jibmasters 2004 organised by Richard Skandera (www.jibmasters.cz) or regular AČS competition (www.snowboarding.cz).
The current status of the park can be viewed on the www.freeride.cz(parksinfo section) every day during the winter season.

PURPOSE
The main purpose of organizing this event is to inspire the wide public by the best possible way, let them know that there is a sport called freeskiing and people in snowparks don´t use only snowboards.
We hope our effort will have possitive effect among the public and we will build a wide base of freeskiing members. One day we would like to reach the level of snowboarding as for winter sport popularity. Along with that, we would like to confront the level of our and foreign riders, discovering who the finest freeskier is.Then we can acclaim the first winner in this category ever, as non such event has ever been made.
